Setting up on the fringe of the historic downtown district, the new Ace Hotel New Orleans offers a distilled experience into the mystique of this Southern city. Housed within a nine-storey warehouse dating from 1928, the hotel was designed in partnership with Roman and Williams, who matched the Deco-meets-Romantic-Gothic architecture with equally evocative interiors. A rich, moody palette pairs with local auction house finds to evoke the voodoo folklore spirit of New Orleans. A double-height music venue, rooftop pool and, of course, an oyster and cocktail bar complete the offerings.
