Blending contemporary design with a traditional twist, the LTW-designed Pullman Kaifeng Jianye offers travellers modern comforts within the context of a deeply historic setting. Situated in Kaifeng, the former capital city of ancient China’s Northern Song dynasty, the hotel’s location — immediately adjacent to the palace walls — and its imperial past were the inspiration for the interior design, which echo the elegant lines of traditional Chinese architecture. Throughout, a neutral and earthy colour palette accentuates intimate spaces and creates a calming atmosphere where leisure and business travellers alike can fully unwind.
